    This is regarding the information of vocational training courses provided to the adolescent girls staying in Child Care Institutions about A293/1, 2nd Floor, Okhla Phase 1 is a trust, which is non-governmental, non political and working for the marginalized women/girls of society.

    Women Empowerment is the core objective of the organization. Through the project ‘Shakti’ the organization is providing meaningful skill in the field of fashion/textiles to the adolescent girls & women to provide them a sustainable livelihood and make them self sufficient to lead a dignified and independent life. They should also avail facility of banking system, awareness about financial decisions and make their own family.

    Currently in the project ‘Shakti’ 20 girls are attending stitching & handicraft training program at Okhla Centre form Prayas, Rainbow Khushi home and Global Family Trust to make them self sufficient and the organization is not charging any money from the girls and the organizations. Information regarding the training has been already given to the CWCs; centre has also been visited by CWC & District Child Protection Unit and all the girls attending the vocational training with permission of concerned Child Welfare Committee and their CCIs.
